Obituary of Jessie Mae Chapman

Jessie Mae Chapman 91 of Savannah, TN formerly of Catlettsburg, KY went home to be with the Lord on Saturday November 3, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

Jessie was born Dec. 1, 1926 at Logan County WV the daughter of the late Kelly and Sadie Maynard Chapman. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Wayne Stroud and children Freda Manis, Kelly Stroud, Geneva Price, Charles Edward Stroud, Garland Stroud, Bobby Stroud, and Michael David Stroud.

She leaves behind four daughters Betty Ferguson, Brookie Meade, Patricia Smith, and Elizabeth Rice; and four sons Wayne Stroud, Roy Lee Stroud, Chester Stroud, and Timothy Stroud; 45 grandchildren, 66 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday Nov. 6th at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Wilbanks officiating. Burial will follow in the Stroud – Collier Cemetery at Catlettsburg, KY.

Friends may visit the family on Monday Nov. 5th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
