Jack Porter, 82, of Genoa, WV passed away Monday, November 5, 2018 at his home. Jack was born March 4, 1936 in Genoa, West Virginia to the late Walter and Lizzie Thompson Porter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Nebert, Thurman, and Frank Porter, and three sisters, Vangie Pratt, Ethel Adkins, and Ruth Rice. 

 He is survived by his wife, Jenny Porter, four sons, Phillip Porter, Leonard (Tammy) Porter, Randolph (Tracy) Porter, Darren (Rebecca) Porter, one daughter, Kimberly (Roger) Rowe, thirteen grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.   

 He was a sawmill operator and member of the Wilson Chapel Free Baptist Church. 

 Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home with Brothers Limuel Little and Mack Ray Cyrus officiating. Burial will follow in the Adkins & Browning Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, November 7 after 6:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
