Freddy Lee Thornsbury 89 of Fort Gay went to be with his Lord on Thursday October 4, 2012. Freddy was born August 18, 1923 in Williamson, WV, the son of the late Edgar and Lettie McCoy Thornsbury. In additon to his parents he is preceded in death by his step mother Mary Jane Thornsbury and two brothers Bob and Don Thornsbury. Freddy was a retired machinst with the Gleasonworks Corporation. Survivors include his loving wife Ann Perry Thornsbury, a daughter and son-in-law Linda Gail and Doug Hurst, two sons Freddy Lee and Larry Gene Thornsbury, two step daughters Donita Webb and husband Randy and Debbie Copley and husband Larry; a step son Bryan Chaney and wife Sheena. He has two grandchildren Crystal Lee Sims and husband Joshua and Jill Marie Richards, four step grandchildren Brandon Webb and wife Amanda, Derrick Webb and wife Johnna, Larry Andrew Copley, Casey Copley and wife Brenda, and eight great step grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday Oct. 7th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Doss Cemetery at Fort Gay, WV.
