Obituary of Virginia Ruth Kimberling

Virginia Ruth Kimberling 93 of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on
Monday, February 4, 2019. Ruth was born August 15, 1925 in Mason County,
WV., the daughter of the late Vinton and Barbara Sayre Cossin. She was a
homemaker and member of Belles Chapel FWB Church.
She was also preceded in death by husbands Samuel S. Smith in 1977 and
William N. Kimberling in 2005, two sons Jimmy A. Smith and Samuel R.
Smith, a son-in-law Jimmy L. Ferrell, two sisters and five brothers.
Survivors include her loving daughters Karen Ferrell and Kathy (Bill)
Massie. Two grandsons, Timothy (Trena) Ferrell and Michael (Becky)
Ferrell. Four great grandchildren, Kendra (Aaron), Nicklas (Lexi),
Allyson, and Liam. Two great, great grandsons, Hunter and Connar. Two brothers, Herb
Cossin and Lee (Lois) Cossin.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 8, 2019
at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Willie Gene Hayes and Rev. Ronnie
Childers officiating. Burial will follow a graveside service at 2:30 PM at
the Smith-Gray Cemetery in Leon, WV.
Friends may visit the family on Thursday, February 7 from 6-8 PM at Wilson
Funeral Home.
