Robert Gene “Easy Rider” Jones, Jr., 68, of Louisa, KY passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019. Mr. Jones was born June 2, 1950 in Paintsville, Kentucky to the late Bob and Betty Jones. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Fouch Jones in 2009 and a brother, John Jones. 

He is survived by his mother, Betty Jones; daughter, Cindy (Joe) Burke; brother, Billy Jones; sister, Elizabeth Jones; grandson, Robert O'Brien, granddaughter, Jessica O'Brien Daniels, granddaughter, Kaylyn Williams, granddaughter, Preston Williams, and granddaughter, Gretchen Williams; great grandsons, Greyson and Mason O'Brien and Hunter Daniels; sister-in-law, Patty Jones; and a nephew, John Jones II.                                       

Easy Rider was a truck driver, who loved trucks and his family.  He also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brother and being around his grandchildren.  He also had a saying that he would always say, “Hard times on easy street.” He will be greatly missed by anyone that knew him. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Wilson Funeral Home in Louisa, KY with Rev. Jimmy Vanhoose officiating. Burial will follow in the Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova, WV. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, February 28 after 6 PM at Wilson Funeral Home.
