Karen Elaine Wood, 50, of Fort Gay, WV passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at her home. Mrs. Wood was born March 29, 1968 in Pontiac, Michigan to Glenn Chaffins and the late Joyce Ann Williams Chaffins. In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Samantha Wood.
She is survived by her father Glenn Chaffins; two sons, Tyler Wood and Austin Wood; two sisters, Lori Hill and Carrie Carrier; and two grandsons, Jason Luke Wood and Jacob Nolan Wood. She was a Home Health Nurse.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
