Obituary of John Richard Parsons

John Richard Parsons, 72, of Fort Gay, WV passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Kings Daughters Medical Center. Mr. Parsons was born June 26, 1946 in Wayne County, West Virginia to the late Franklin and Rinda Marie Thompson Parsons. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Beverly and Phyllis Parsons and one brother, Frank Ronald Parsons.

He is survived by four sons, James Richard Parsons, Michael Lee Parsons, Chris Glenn Napier, and Buddy Allen Parsons; two daughters, Tammy Martin and Teresa Lynn Cox; two brothers, Roger L. Parsons and Tom Parsons; four sisters, Linda Kirk, Brenda Robertson, Patty Carpenter and Sandra Thompson; thirteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

He was a retired foundry heat treater.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Kitts officiating. Burial will follow in the Parsons Cemetery at Fort Gay, WV.
