What a great man he was and always will be to many. I have to laugh when remembering the first time I met Uncle Sherman when he said "now there is big ole boy right there". Then there was the time we were sitting at the table eating breakfast and the sausage was not cut as thick as the day before he was a ittle dissapointed about that one and made sure we all knew that it needed to be thicker the next morning. Well all the great memories many of his family and friends have will last an eternity. Uncle Sherman you accepted me into your family when I married Laura and welcomed me onto your home I will cherish your kindness and never forget having met a great man like yourself. It will never be the same in Louisa the next time I am there.

Uncle sherman as most of the family calls him, was a man with the worlds biggest heart. He cared so much about everyone and would do anything for just about anybody. He was full of positive energy, and my favorite memory was his smile and laugh. I'll never forget the time we held a family reunion at his home in Louisa. It was so much fun, and he was just a sweet person to be around. I never wanted to leave back to michigan. I remember wanting him to come home to most of his family. Although his only home was in Kentucky and he never traveled out of state. May he rest in peace, and god be with him. He was such a kind and genuine person. He will remain in our hearts forever and the memories of him will never fade. One of a kind man. RIP UNCLE SHERMAN !<3
