Ivan Butcher 82 of Mulberry Ave. Louisa, KY went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday October 27, 2012. Ivan was born January 31, 1930 at Paintsville, KY, the son of the late Beacher and Ollie Williams Butcher. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by eight brothers and four sisters. He was a member of the Friendship United Baptist Church. He joined the church on June 8, 1957 being ordained as a mininster in May 1965. He was a electrician by trade retiring from the Elliot Company. Survivors include his loving wife Ann Colvin Butcher; a daughter Jane Butcher of Meally, KY, two sisters Georgene Barnette of Lexington, KY and Anita Gay Walters and husband Frank of Miamisburg, OH, a brother Douglas Butcher of Meally, KY and two favorite nephews Steve and Dave Butcher both of Meally, KY. Funeral services will be conducted by Elders Flem Allen Arrowwood and Glen Pennix on Tuesday October 30th at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery at Louisa. Friends may call from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday at the Wilson Funeral Home.
