Obituary of Dalton Scott Smith

Dalton Scott Smith, 23, of Fort Gay, WV passed away Monday, November 11, 2019. Dalton was born November 28, 1995 in Frankfort, Kentucky to Clayton and Kristi Ailiff Smith. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Clay Smith and maternal great-grandfather, Charlie Marcum. 

 

He is survived by his father Clayton Smith and mother Kristi (Ailiff) Smith; two brothers, Elijah Smith and William Smith; one sister, Emma Smith; fiance, Kirstin Dunn; maternal grandparents, William & Lahoma Ailiff; paternal grandmother, Polly Smith; maternal great-grandmother, Velva Marcum; and uncles and aunts, Jeremy Ailiff, Jason & Mary Ailiff, Sheila & Rocky Rowe, Ronnie & Alicia Parsons, and Clay Jr. & Sandy Smith.                                            

 

He was a Flagman for High Line Services and member of Big Hurricane Baptist Church.

 

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Wilson Funeral Home in Louisa, KY with Pastor Tony Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Friday, November 15 from 6-9 PM at Wilson Funeral Home. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
