Obituary of Brian Victor Withers

Brian Victor Withers, 95, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Monday July 20, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.

Brian was born December 23, 1924 at home in Huntington, WV, the son of the late Henry and Hazel Meadows Withers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Wilma Ann Withers who passed away in 2014.

Brian was a retired Material Inspector for the Army Corps of Engineers. He served his country during World War II in the United States Army Air Corp. Brian was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Louisa, where he served as Deacon and Sunday School Teacher for many years.

Survivors include a daughter, Allison Arbaugh and husband Kevin; three sons, Gregory Stuart Withers, Brian Scott Withers, and Eric Shannon Withers and wife Lisa. He leaves behind four grandchildren, Amanda Arbaugh, Brian Arbaugh and wife, Caitlin, Eric Sean Withers, and Erin Shannon Withers.

Funeral services will be held on Friday July 24th at 1:00 pm at the First Baptist Church Louisa with Rev. Tim Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, WV. Friends may visit the family on Friday from 11:00 am until time of services at the church.

Military Honors will be provided by the members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion Louisa Post.

In Lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations be made to the First Baptist Church Louisa Building Fund at 301 W. Pike St. Louisa, KY 41230
