Woodrow Perry 84 of Salt Petre Road Fort Gay, WV went to be with his Lord on Tuesday Feb. 5, 2013. Woodrow was born April 25, 1928 at Wilsondale, WV the son of the late James and Jannievee Jude Perry. He was a retired Wayne County School Teacher with 35 years service, a member of the Salt Petre Church, and a United States Navy Veteran and a member of the Crum Masonic Lodge F&AM 132 Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years Mary Maynard Perry; three sons Woodrow Jr. and wife Colleen of Maple, NC, Elias and wife Shelby of Fort Gay, WV, and Norman Michael and wife Dianne of Dunlow, WV; seven grandchildren Sherry (Brian) Houseknecht, Gregory Perry, Deborah Perry, Elias Jr. (Vickie), Jeremy (Kristina) Perry,, Michael Shane Perry, and Mary Megan Perry; seven great grandchildren Morgan, Ayden, Caitlyn, Rylan, Jeremy Jr., Breanna, and Hayden; two brothers James Perry of Fort Gay, WV and Verland Perry of Kenova, WV and one sister Hazel Vincent of New York. He is preceded in death by six brothers Clearance, Glenn, Clyde, Curtiss, Raymond, and William Harrison Perry. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday Feb. 8th at 11:00 am at the Salt Petre Church by Bro. Richard Maynard. Burial will follow in the William Perry Cemetery.
