Barbara Jo Borders 82 of Ulysses, Kentucky passed away January 2, 2023 at her home followiing a brief illness.

Barbara was born August 2, 1940 at Blaine, Kentucky the daughter of the late Walker and Nancy O'Bryan Thompson. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Howard Glen Borders.

Survivors include a son Robert Glen Borders and wife Damaris Ortiz-Borders; a granddaughter Tielar Wheeler; Step Grandchildren Moses Moldes, Summer Moldes, and Bandon Moldes; sisters Louise Cordle, Willa Elliott, Neva Robinett, Sue Bryant, and Sharon Smith; a brother Walker Jr. Thompson; a sister-in-law Joyce Barlett and husband David; and a brother-in-law Joseph L. Borders and wife Gwen; a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Friday January 6th at noon at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Frederick officiating. Burial will follow in the Borders-Preston Cemetery at Ulysses, Kentucky. Friends may visit the family on Friday January 6th from 10:00 am until time of services at the Wilson Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Wilson Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.

Care for Mrs.Borders and her family has been entrusted to our family at Wilson Funeral Home.
