Obituary of Justin Ryan Maxie

Justin Ryan Maxie 41 of Louisa, KY passed away on April 23, 2023 following a sudden illness.

Justin was born on August 14, 1981 at Ashland, Kentucky, the son of Wanda Scaggs Maxie and the late Alger Maxie. He is preceded in death by his nephew Landyn Nix and his father Alger Maxie.

Justin was a Peer Support Specialist for Addiction Recovery Center (ARC).

Survivors include his loving fiance Martie Simpkins; a daughter Camber Maxie; four sons Brady Simpkins, Lucas Simpkins, Hunter Maxie, and Asher Maxie; his mother Wanda Maxie; two brothers Shannon Maxie and Jeremy Maxie; a sister Amy (John) Nix; two special nieces Hannah Maxie and Jaylee maxie; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends from Addiction Recovery.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 26, 2023 at 12:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home in Louisa, KY with Shannon Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Scaggs Cemetery in Louisa, Kentucky.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday April 25th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
