I am so very sorry for your loss. At this difficult time please remember the Bible’s promise at Acts 24:15, “There is going to be a resurrection.” May the God of all comfort, comfort you in all your trials. – 2 Corinthians 1:3,4

Richard, Mary, & Family,
My deepest condolences to all for the loss of Harry. I've known you guys all my life and I know he's been a great father & grandfather and will be missed so much. I'm sorry I was unable to attend the services, as I am still recuperating from foot surgery and cannot drive or walk without assistance. I just wanted you to know that our thoughts & prayers are with you and we are here for you if you need anything. Love, Jennifer, Danni, Julie, & Lauren

Harry was a first rate individual and a good friend. While I have lived in Atlanta since 1970 and have had few chances to visit with him, we did see each other several times over the past 10-15 years at class reunions, etc. I will miss him. Sincere condolences to his dear family.

My memories of Papaw are so many and all great that I don't know where to begin! I can honestly say he was always there when I needed him and he was VERY SPECIAL in the lives of both of my children, so much though that I cannot thank him enough! Thank you for never saying no to my family and for fighting The Good Fight as we talked about! We love you and miss you much, tell Jesus we said hello and don't talk His ear off to much about the Cats!

I don't have the words to tell you what good friends Harry and I have been. He once said I saved his life but it was not that dramatic as he fell off a building that we had no business being on. Harry and I go back 60 years. We were 10 years old at that time. I don't remember how we met, but I was living with my grandfather for six months. You can not name anything that 2 10 year olds can do that we didn' e.g. walkup 2 flights of stairs on stilts, build sub terranean forts in the banks of the Big Sandy; Ride bikes over every road and more in Louisa,
deliver papers, go to moviies, rollerskate, go to DQ, Use car hoods to ride down snowbanks, and the list goes down. We remained brothers for the 60 years since. Tom Sawyer/huckleberry Finn. We kept touch over the years and have met in Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Tennessee. We supported each other through good and bad times. He came to my 50th wedding Anniversary. Always good natured and talking of people we knew in 6th grade. His memory was more current than mine. Harry was an irreplaceable friend and he will be missed.
Debbie my apologies for so much, but when you cram as much as we did into 6 months it is very hard to know what to say, I love him and you and offer my sincere prayers for your comfort. He left a big hole in a lot of lives.
