I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Meade is obviously a beautiful woman. It's hard to know what to say to someone who has just lost a loved one. Before I became a Christian, I couldn't stand to hear the statements "she's in a better place" or "at least she is not suffering anymore." Now, I KNOW this is true. Your family will get to see her smiling face again someday. For now you have the best anyone could have; the special memories you all shared with her, alone & with others. Keep these memories with you always, smile each time you see something you know she would comment on. It is in these precious moments we find peace. God bless you and your family.
