For years at our Family Reunions, Billy Joe was always the one who greated each & every member of our extended Cyrus family. He would also ask about those that couldn’t attend. He was the Cyrus Spokeperson until Bobby Glenn and my Uncle Ron Cyrus assisted when Billy Joe was unable to go on. Over the years I heard wonderful stories from my Uncle Charles Cecil, who spent every summer of his youth, working the family farm in Louisa with Billy Joe. They were not only cousins but the best of friends. I believe with all my heart that Uncle Charles was there to greet him and Welcome him home.
