This county lost a great and loving man. Lawrence and the whole Vinson family are the salt of the earth. Lawrence always was smiling and to see him in town and talk to him was a blessing. Last time we talked was in the barber shop. I let a gentleman go in front of me so I could talk longer to Lawrence. My heart goes out to all the family. LINDA You have been a wonderful wife for so many years. Lawrence was so proud of all his kids. He loved his family so much. To Kay who is a great friend even if we don't ever see one another. My deepest sympathy to you. To James, the best man I ever worked for and one of my best friends. You know you will be re-united with Lawrence. Keep fighting the good fight. Charlie my heart goes out to you and your family. Sorry for such a long note. I just found this out and am shocked and wounded. Hope to see you all tommorrow.

Dear Linda and Vinson family, Please accept my sincerest sympathies upon the passing of Lawrence Edward. He was my Classmate and loyal friend for more than sixty years. He was a true leader for his Class of '64 and community. We all appreciated him and looked to him when decisions had to be made. Lawrence was simply our good buddy and his presence will be missed.
